Our client, a leading global FMCG organisation, is looking to engage with a Consultant: Finance Planning & Analysis.
Key Responsibilities:
-Develop and maintain financial models to support forecasting, budgeting, and long-term planning.
-Perform variance analysis and provide insights into key financial metrics, trends, and drivers.
-Collaborate with business units to analyze financial data and identify opportunities for cost optimization and revenue growth.
-Prepare detailed financial reports and presentations for senior leadership and stakeholders.
-Support month-end and quarter-end financial close processes, ensuring accuracy and completeness of financial data.
-Conduct scenario analysis to assess financial risks and opportunities.
-Assist in developing key performance indicators (KPIs) and tracking financial performance against benchmarks.
-Partner with cross-functional teams (operations, sales, marketing, etc.) to align financial goals with business strategy.
-Implement process improvements and automation to enhance financial reporting efficiency.
Stay updated with market trends, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices
Note: This is a 6-months onsite project based out of Mumbai and requires full time capacity.
-Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field (MBA or CPA preferred).
-3-5 years of experience in FP&A, financial analysis, or a related role.
-Strong proficiency in financial modeling, data analysis, and forecasting.
-Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills; experience with financial software such as SAP, -Hyperion, Anaplan, or similar tools is a plus.
-Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and provide actionable insights.
-Excellent communication and presentation skills to effectively convey financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
-Attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting and analysis.
-Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
-Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities.
-Experience in process automation and business intelligence tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) is an advantage.
