Assignment Details

Our client, a leading FMCG company, is looking for an independent consultant who can deliver the following :
1. Supply Chain Finance – Inventory Management (Business Waste)
- Assist in managing the SLOB inventory focusing on right provisioning for RPM & FG in financials.
- Work on reconciliation of savings and tie back to P&L flow
- Assist in managing the control and governance of Business Waste (BW) across all factories and depots pan India.
- Coordinating with the factory team, planner and business partners to reduce the obsolete stock lying idle, ultimately leading to increase the operational efficiency.
- Playing an active role in planning by estimating future obsolete inventory, collaborating with department personnel and business stakeholders to ensure accurate prediction.
- Work on reconciliation of savings and tie back to P&L flow
2. Fixed Assets Review
- Work actively with plant teams to consolidate PV reporting.
- Drive useful life review for fixed assets across the organization annually
3. Ensuring compliance to controls
- Ensure compliance maintenance to all Business waste related controls
- Timely updating and reporting of controls in system

Skills Required

- Qualified Chartered Accounted
- Knowledge of Supply chain process involving fundamentals of finance would be an add on
