Assignment Details

Our client is a leading FMCG company is looking to engage with a Finance Consultant.

Key Responsibilities-
1. Updating multiple MISs and Performance decks: weekly/monthly
a. BG BU Deck to the global CFO
b. MOR Deck to the CEO
c. OVH MIS to the team
d. Innovations Post launch evaluation
e. Business case simulation
2. Tracking actuals vs forecast/budget for all countries. Identify key variances and the underlying reasons.
3. Forecasting:
a. Simulating South Asia P&L and holding the shape of the P&L keeping in view the Global targets.
b. Reviewing of Overhead spends, variance analysis and safeguarding the budgets.
c. Been able to perform ad hoc financial analysis independently.
4. Innovations-
a. Managing multiple stakeholders to simulate 3 year business Financials of any new launches in the category.
b. Ability to evaluate business investment decisions and questioning the category on all choices including Brand and marketing investments, Capex, pricing etc of any new launch.
c. Post launch evaluation.
5. Net Revenue Management-
a. Driving the NRM for the category in line with targets.
b. Quarterly reporting and explanation of CoC changes of the category’s NRM.

Skills Required

-The candidate should have strong data handling skills and communication skills. He/she would be responsible in closely working with Business Finance, FET, supply chain finance and also relevant stakeholders across all South Asian countries.
-He should be able to gather, review and share data basis the needs of different stakeholders.
-Strong analytical skills with good understanding of variance analysis.
-Good control over numbers and ability to work in a fast paced environment.
-Good with unstructured problem solving.
-Strong verbal and written communication skills.
-Well versed in SAP system, MS Office suite.
-Good to have some prior financial planning & analysis experience.
-Having worked in an FMCG would be a bonus.
