Assignment Details

 

We are seeking for a collection expert  who  has done tele / digital collections,

 

 

A. Strategy & Process Improvement

  • Design & Implement Collections Strategy: Develop and implement an efficient collections framework, focusing on early-stage and late-stage collections.
  • Risk Segmentation: Categorize borrowers into risk buckets and tailor collection strategies accordingly.
  • Operational Efficiency: Streamline the end-to-end collections process to reduce turnaround time and enhance success rates.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all collections activities adhere to regulatory and internal compliance guidelines, such as fair practices and privacy laws.

B. Technology & Automation

  • Digital Collections: Leverage digital tools (IVR, AI chatbots, WhatsApp, SMS, and email) to increase outreach and drive self-cure initiatives.
  • Automation & Analytics: Utilize predictive analytics, machine learning, and data-driven insights to prioritize collections and predict borrower behavior.
  • System Integration: Work with IT teams to integrate collections systems (LMS, CRM, and Payment Gateway) to improve efficiency.

C. People & Vendor Management

  • Team Leadership: Lead and mentor the in-house collections team and field executives.
  • Vendor Management: Manage external collections agencies, legal partners, and ensure timely performance reviews and compliance checks.

D. Performance Monitoring & Reporting

  • Collections Dashboard: Build and maintain a collections dashboard with key metrics (e.g., resolution rate, collections-to-billing ratio, roll rates, and promise-to-pay success).
  • Portfolio Monitoring: Conduct daily, weekly, and monthly reviews of portfolio performance and design corrective action plans.
  • Root Cause Analysis: Identify underlying causes of defaults and take corrective actions to reduce future occurrences.

Skills Required

  • Technical Skills: Knowledge of collections management software (LMS, CRM, AI/ML tools)
  • Data-Driven Approach: Proficiency in data analytics tools (Excel, Power BI, Tableau, SQL, etc.)
  • Problem Solving & Critical Thinking: Ability to identify root causes, develop corrective action plans, and optimize processes.
  • Leadership Skills: Capable of leading field teams and managing outsourced collection partners.
  • Compliance Knowledge: Awareness of RBI guidelines, NBFC codes of conduct, and borrower rights.
  • Atleast 15 years of experience into tele/digital collections.
