Assignment Details

Collection Management:

  • Assist in managing the collection process for outstanding payments across various accounts.
  • Contact customers (via calls, emails, or letters) to remind them of overdue payments and follow up on agreed-upon payment schedules.
  • Maintain a database of customer interactions and collection status.

Dispute Resolution:

  • Identify and address any issues or discrepancies related to payments, and work towards swift resolution.
  • Escalate unresolved issues to senior team members or management when necessary.

Payment Processing:

  • Ensure that payments are processed and recorded accurately in the accounting system.
  • Monitor and update payment schedules and agreements.

Reporting:

  • Generate and maintain regular reports related to outstanding payments, collection status, and customer communication.
  • Provide reports to senior management on collection performance and outstanding balances.

Customer Service:

  • Provide courteous, professional service to customers regarding their outstanding accounts.
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with customers to ensure continued business and timely payments.

Compliance:

  • Ensure that collection activities comply with company policies, legal requirements, and regulatory standards.
  • Assist in the preparation of documentation for any potential legal action related to collections.

Skills Required

  • Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written)
  • Strong negotiation and conflict resolution skills
  • Attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks
  • Basic understanding of accounting and financial processes
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
