Our Client is a French multinational corporation that specializes in digital automation and energy management and are looking for a skilled CAD Designer with experience in electrical simulations to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Computer-Aided Design (CAD) and proficiency in simulation software for electrical systems. This role will involve designing, modeling, and simulating electrical systems and components to support product development
and ensure performance, reliability, and compliance with industry standards.
Key Responsibilities:
● Create detailed 2D and 3D CAD designs for electrical systems, components, and
assemblies using CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar).
● Perform electrical simulations, including load flow analysis, transient analysis, and
thermal simulations, using specialized simulation tools (e.g., PSpice, MATLAB, Simulink, or similar).
● Collaborate with electrical engineers to interpret technical specifications, schematics, and system requirements.
● Conduct design reviews and optimize designs for manufacturability, performance, and cost.
● Ensure designs comply with relevant industry standards, safety regulations, and
company guidelines.
● Participate in the development of prototypes and testing phases to validate simulation results.
● Maintain and update design documentation, drawings, and simulation data.
● Support cross-functional teams (engineering, manufacturing, R&D) throughout the product development lifecycle.
● Troubleshoot and resolve design-related issues during simulation and implementation phases.
● Stay updated with the latest trends, tools, and technologies in CAD and electrical
simulation.
● Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
● Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or equivalent) with a focus on electrical design.
● Experience with electrical simulation software (PSpice, LTSpice, MATLAB/Simulink, etc.).
● Strong knowledge of electrical systems and components.
● Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
● Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
