Our client, a leading FMCG organization is looking for a talented Promo Planning UI Developer to join our Technology department. In this role, you will design and develop intuitive and high-performing user interfaces that enhance the promo planning experience. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product management, and back-end development, to create responsive and scalable UIs that drive the success of our promotional campaigns.
Key Responsibilities:
UI/UX Design and Development:
Design and build user interfaces for promo planning tools and dashboards within the Technology department.
Collaborate with UX designers to produce wireframes, mockups, and interactive prototypes.
Develop responsive and efficient UIs using modern front-end technologies and frameworks.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Partner with product managers, marketing teams, and back-end developers to gather requirements and translate them into functional UI components.
Participate in design reviews and provide feedback to ensure the UI meets user needs and technical requirements.
Ensure smooth integration of UI components with back-end systems, APIs, and services.
Optimization and Testing:
Conduct usability testing to refine and enhance the UI based on user feedback.
Optimize front-end code for performance, scalability, and maintainability.
Debug and resolve UI issues, ensuring compatibility across different devices and browsers.
Documentation and Standards:
Maintain comprehensive documentation of UI components, design patterns, and workflows.
Follow industry best practices in UI/UX design, front-end development, and coding standards.
Stay current with the latest trends and advancements in UI/UX design and front-end technologies.
Skills Required
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
10+ years of experience in UI/UX design and front-end development within a technology-driven environment.
Experience with promo planning tools or similar applications is advantageous.
Technical Skills:
Strong proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and front-end frameworks such as React.js or Angular.
Experience with design tools like Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, or equivalent.
Familiarity with RESTful APIs and the ability to integrate front-end components with back-end systems.
Soft Skills:
Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across departments.
Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize in a fast-paced technology environment.
