How to Create Your Boutique Firm’s Skill Profile on Flexing It

Getting started is simple! Once you've signed up and verified your account, head to your dashboard.
You will find the "Create Skill Profile" option - click on it to begin. Completing your firm’s skill profile takes just four easy steps.
Step 1: Fill in Your Summary Profile
Provide a clear and concise overview of your firm's key focus areas and expertise. Please use the space to highlight your firm's core strengths. Add breadth and depth of expertise, types of assignments in focus, and spotlight key resources.
*Avoid special characters and personal details (e.g., phone numbers, email IDs, names)
Step 2 : Mention details about your firm’s specialisation
In the broad skill area, specify the sector where your firm holds the highest level of expertise or has a track record of completing successful projects.
In the Flextags section
- Highlight your domain expertise sector-specific (e.g. vaccines, financial inclusion) or knowledge niches (e.g. AI and Six Sigma)
- Use 1-2 word phrases, separating each with a comma.
- Select from our recommended expertise tags for your chosen broad skill area, or add your own.
- Our Flextags help narrow your niche down so that relevant clients find you and relevant projects are shown to you.
Step 3: Add Details of Previous Assignments as a Firm
Provide a detailed breakdown of your past projects completed, highlighting key milestones and impact. Highlight key results, measurable outcomes, and the difference you made.

Expected Compensation
You may specify a fee range and choose the currency your firm operates in.
Upload Your Company’s Presentation
- Showcase your expertise by uploading a portfolio or presentation.
- Ensure the file name does not contain special characters.
- Keep the file size under 20 MB.
Step 4: Review Before Submitting
See how your profile appears to clients before finalising.
Double-check your profile and click SUBMIT at the bottom to complete the process.
